Blade tips are colour-coded yellow on the handles. They have flat edges and are rounded at the tip.

Blade tips are good all-purpose tools, although they don't act as "soft" as the ball tips. While blade tips grip the metal pretty well from side to side, they can tend to slip front-to-back; so be careful to keep them under control.

The potential hazard with the blade tip is the same as with a ball tip - creating a high.
